Despite the draw, Danielyan did not improve her position in the standings, remaining last but one with 2.5 points. Hou Yifan of China keeps the lead with 7 points, followed by Tatiana Kosintseva of Russia (5 points) and Anna Muzychuk of Slovenia (4.5 points). In round 9, the Armenian GM will face Russia’s Alisa Gallyamova, who is currently 8th.
