Armenian President to attend CIS summit![]() August 13, 2011 - 12:30 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan will attend the jubilee summit of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) to be held in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, in September 2011, to mark the 20th anniversary of CIS formation. Presidents of Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan also confirmed their participation. Leaders of Belarus, Uzbekistan and Ukraine have not responded to invitation yet, Interfax Kazakhstan reported. ![]() ![]() Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert. On June 10, Azerbaijani President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will leave for Turkey on a working visit. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev arrived in Moscow on April 22 to hold talks with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
