Karabakh issue can’t be leverage on Baku, Azeri MP says

PanARMENIAN.Net - Azerbaijani parliament member, deputy executive secretary of Yeni Azerbaijan ruling party Mubariz Gurbanly believes that the Nagorno Karabakh conflict can’t be used as a leverage on Baku.

“Azerbaijan has covered a difficult path. Our country’s stand is firm and it’s impossible to divert its political line using the conflict as a leverage,” Gurbanly said.

Commenting on Russia’s foreign policy, he said that Moscow currently prefers cooperation to pressure.

“All this gives reason to reach progress in talks,” Gurbanly said, Trend News reported.
