The minister of foreign affairs of Sweden Anna Lindt will visit Armenia in 2001 within the framework of the tour to South Caucasian states.As was reported to Mediamax in the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, this visit was agreed on in Stockholm at the meeting between Anna Lindt and the Foreign Minister of Armenia Vardan Oskanian on October 25 during the visit of the latter to the Scandinavian states. During the meeting perspectives of development of the Armenian-Swedish relations and the possibility of cooperation within the framework of international organizations, taking into consideration the presidency of Sweden in European Union in 2001, were discussed. On October 25 Armenian Foreign Minister met also with the state secretary of the Swedish International development agency B. Andersen and the speaker of the Swedish parliament B. Dugly. Members of the Armenian delegation took part in the Armenian-Swedish business-forum.
