FOREIGN MINISTER OF ARMENIA ARRIVED IN SWEDEN TODAY

PanARMENIAN.Net - 25.10.2000, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. Today the Foreign Minister of Armenia Vardan Oskanian, visiting the Scandinavian states, arrived in Swedish capital Stockholm.

As was reported to Mediamax in the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, today Foreign Minister of Armenia will meet with the foreign minister of Sweden A. Lind. On October 26 V. Oskanian will meet with the state secretary of the Swedish International development agency B. Andersen and the speaker of the Swedish parliament B. Dugly. Foreign Minister of Armenia will speak in the Swedish Trade Council and in the International Relations Institute of Sweden on October 26.

Today, before leaving for Sweden, Armenian Foreign Minister met in Oslo with members of the foreign relations commission of the Norwegian parliament.

On October 24 King of Norway Harald V received Armenian Foreign Minister. Yesterday Vardan Oskanian met also with his Norwegian counterpart T. Yagland. During the meeting perspectives of the development of the bilateral relations between the two countries were discussed, the importance of activation of economic cooperation in energy and information technologies was stressed. -0-
