Azerbaijan plans to launch new anti-Armenian website

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian media outlets often disseminate Azerbaijani misinformation, thus accelerating its spread throughout the web, information security expert said.

Samvel Martirosyan advised local media to be more cautious when republishing reports on Armenian-Azeri relations or Nagorno Karabakh conflict.

“Azerbaijani propaganda machine often launches ‘Armenian websites’ which spread disinformation. armeniareport.com, for example, was available for a long time,” he said, adding that a new anti-Armenian website, proarmenia.info will be launched by Azerbaijan soon.

Some Armenian media have a habit of republishing materials from Azerbaijani press. Moreover, Armenian journalists are often unaware that websites like armeniareport.com are actually Azerbaijani sources aimed to spread anti-Armenian propaganda.
