Facebook makes photos biggerAugust 27, 2011 - 12:32 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The Facebook Blog announced new changes of photo viewing system on Facebook. According to the Blog, sharing pictures is one of the most popular activities on Facebook with over 250 million photos uploaded each day. After launching the first version of photo viewer earlier this year Facebook received feedback and based on it made some changes. Now photo viewer background is white and all pictures are bigger 720 pixels to 960 pixels. The new viewer takes up more screen real estate (since photos are now larger) and reduces clutter so users can focus on the photo and nothing else.
