Russia recognizes Libyan Transitional National Council

PanARMENIAN.Net - Russia has recognized the Libyan Transitional National Council as the only legitimate power in the country, the Foreign Ministry said on Thursday, September 1.

The Ministry said, however, that all the deals between Russia and Libya that were signed during Muammar Gaddafi's reign remain operational and would be strictly adhered to, RIA Novosti reported.
