Armenia recognizes Libyan Transitional Council

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia has recognized Libyan Transitional Council.

Spokesman for the RA Foreign Ministry Tigran Balayan said Armenia announced its decision through its diplomatic outpost in Paris.

The NTC was formed on Feb. 27, 2011, in a Benghazi courthouse, and on March 5 issued a statement calling itself “the only legitimate body representing the people of Libya and the Libyan state.”
