Artsakh President congratulates Transnistria on 21st anniversary of independence![]() September 2, 2011 - 11:02 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Artsakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan sent a message to the leader of Transnistrian Moldovan Republic (TMR), Igor Smirnov, to congratulate him on the 21st anniversary of TMR independence. “On behalf of people, authorities of the Nagorno Karabagh Republic and myself I cordially congratulate you and the fraternal people of the Transnistrian Moldovan Republic on the 21st anniversary of independence,” President Sahakyan said. “During these years the people and authorities of Transnistria have resolved crucial problems of state building, defended freedom and independence of the country, laid the foundation for a dynamic economic development and embarked irreversibly on the path of international recognition. Artsakh is sincerely glad to see your success,” he said, reported the Central Information Department of the Office of the Artsakh Republic President. ![]() ![]() Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert. On June 10, Azerbaijani President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will leave for Turkey on a working visit. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev arrived in Moscow on April 22 to hold talks with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
