Former special police force commander to head road police![]() September 6, 2011 - 09:47 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Police chief Alik Sargsyan will appoint colonel Arsen Galstyan, former commander of special police force detachment and Artsakh war participant, as head of road police, according to Armenian media reports. Former head of the road police Margar Ohanyan was arrested on August 30. He is accused of embezzlement and abuse of power in compliance with article 308.2 and article 179.3.1 of RA Criminal Code. Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
