Parents of killed soldiers protesting at government building in Yerevan September 8, 2011 - 11:11 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Members of the Army in Reality civil initiative have gathered in front of the government building in Yerevan to protest recent deadly incidents in the Armenian army. The protesters, mostly parents of the killed soldiers, formed a line holding the photos of their children. Their unwillingness to clear the way towards the government building resulted in a clash with the police officers. “We are gathering here each Thursday but nothing changes,” one of the parents said, demanding a meeting with the Prime Minister and Defense Minister to get answers to their questions. As a PanARMENIAN.Net correspondent reported from the ground, there are also Diaspora representatives among the protesters. Many of the parents say they possess proof of how and by whom their sons were killed but the investigation produced no result.
