Israel will respond to Turkey, expert says

PanARMENIAN.Net - Israel will not leave Turkey’s aggressive policy unanswered, an Armenian expert said.

“Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman is going to pay a visit to the United States, where he will meet with representatives of Armenian organizations. This is an important factor,” Levon Hovsepyan told a news conference in Yerevan.

“Besides, there is also the Kurdish factor, which along with the Armenian Genocide issue, will be used as tool of pressure on Turkey,” he said.

According to military expert Artsrun Hovhannisyan, should an armed conflict burst out, the U.S. will try to prevent a direct clash between Israel and Turkey. “For example, a conflict may emerge between Israel and Egypt, with Turkey supporting the latter,” he said.
