Belgrade hosted a news conference for Argentine tennis team to face off against Serbia in Davis Cup semifinals.
The line-up for Belgrade includes David Nalbandian, Juan Martin Del Potro, Juan Monaco, Juan Ignacio Chela and captain Tito Vazquez.
As Vazquez noted, “David is a very important player for Argentine. His playing intensity has decreased lately for a series of circumstances, but I am confident that he will eventually recover this month before the Davis Cup (semifinals).”
“I'm not ready to play on all three days,” Nalbandian said. “I think the idea of the coaches was to have a fixed doubles so that the singles players can get some rest.”
“I'm glad that we're all here together. With the two of us at a good level we're competitive and tough for every opponent. Serbia is the favourite but we have the team to give them a good scare. My idea is to play the two singles. Fortunately, we're all here together,” Nalbandian said.
