Baku shocked by drone shot down, expert says

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian military expert is confident that the international community will respond to the fact of Azeri reconnaissance flights over Artsakh territory.

“Try as the international community may to be “unbiased”, the fact must be condemned,” Artsrun Hovhannisyan told a news conference in Yerevan.

According to the expert, Baku, clearly shocked over the shooting down of Azeri missile drone, is currently incapable of any reaction.

“However, there being clear evidences to prove the incident, Baku won't be able to find an excuse,” the expert said.

In conclusion, the expert urged to adequately respond to Azeri actions, characterizing Azeri reconnaissance flights as Artsakh airspace violation.

In the morning of September 12, Artsakh armed forces shot down an Azeri drone which was exploring the territory of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic in Askeran direction of the line of contact.
