The decision was taken at a meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Arab League member-states. The agenda includes the item on the Arab countries' support for Azerbaijan to be a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council in 2012-2013, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry told Trend News. The decision proves the high level of relations between Azerbaijan and the Arab countries, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry said. The elections to the UN Security Council will be held in October.
