Airport-adjacent free economic zone to be created in Yerevan

PanARMENIAN.Net - At September 22 sitting, the Armenian government resolved to transfer 0,77 hectares of land to Zvartnots airport, introducing amendments to the earlier resolution, stipulating for 0,47 hectares.

According to Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan, the government initiated a new program envisaging construction of an airport-adjacent “free economic zone”. To achieve the goal, 2 residential buildings are to be shifted; a concessionary will be provided with a new territory for construction of the buildings.
