  Aram Sargsyan: authorities rejected hand of peace extended by ANC  September 23, 2011 - 20:09 AMTPanARMENIAN.Net - The authorities rejected the hand of peace we extended, the leader of Republic party said. “Yet, the opposition is not the one to hold a grudge, the coalition is,” Aram Sargsyan stated at Armenian National Congress (ANC) opposition bloc rally. The People's Party of Armenia leader, Stepan Demirchyan, in turn, called on rally participants to raise their voice in protest against the authorities for humiliating the dignity of people. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
