A festive reception at Metropolitan Palace hotel hosted high-ranking Lebanese officials as well as influential figures of Armenian Diaspora. Armenian Ambassador Ashot Kocharyan delivered an opening speech, specifically stressing firm Armenia-Diaspora ties as well as high level of cooperation between Armenia and Lebanon.
