ANC, UK Foreign Ministry reps discuss political situation in Armenia![]() September 29, 2011 - 18:25 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian National Congress (ANC) opposition bloc coordinator Levon Zurabyan met with the UK Ambassador to Armenia Charles Lonsdale and a representative of UK Foreign Ministry. At the meeting, the parties focused on internal political situation in Armenia as well as ANC actions at the oncoming September 30 rally. The parties also discussed the possibility for organising fair and free elections in Armenia, as well as opposition demand for pre-term presidential and parliamentary elections. ![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
