Italian town recognizes Armenian Genocide

PanARMENIAN.Net - The town council of Cerchiara di Calabria, Italy, has recognized the 1915 Armenian Genocide in the Ottoman Empire.

According to the press office of the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Cerchiara di Calabria is the 6th town to recognize the Genocide during the current year, thus bringing the total number of Italian cities and provinces recognizing the Armenian Genocide to 63.
