ACDU won’t present separate candidate list at parliamentary election

PanARMENIAN.Net - The leader of Armenian Christian Democratic Union (ACDU) rules out ACDU’s presenting a separate candidate list at oncoming parliamentary election.

“It’s a losing battle, beside, the party can’t take up such a burden,” Khosrov Harutyunyan told a news a news conference in Yerevan.

Harutyunyan further denied rumors suggesting his inclusion in the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) list of candidates. “The issue hasn’t been discussed,” he noted, yet didn’t rule out the idea in case RPA suggests it. “In 2008, ACDU actively cooperated with RPA in supporting Serzh Sargsyan’s candidacy for president,” he noted.
