PanARMENIAN.Net - On October 7, grandmaster Levon Aronian tied the 7th round game with Norway’s Magnus Carlsen at Bilbao Chess Masters Final.The tournament leader Vasili Ivanchuk of Ukraine lost to Spain’s Francisco Vallejo; India’ Viswanathan Anand and Hikaru Nakamura of U.S. ended the game in a tie.

Aronian retains 3rd position with 3 points, Ivanchuk stays in the lead with 13 points, followed by Nakamura with 8 points.

In the 8th round, Aronian, Ivanchuk and Karsen will face off against Nakamura, Anand and Vallejo resp.
