John Prescott tells Baku to mind own business

PanARMENIAN.Net - PACE co-rapporteur on Armenia John Prescott slammed Azeri delegation’s report on Armenia’s domestic policy, suggesting they channel their enthusiasm at resolving own internal issues.

According to a member of Armenian delegation to PACE, Naira Zohrabyan, Mr. Prescott stressed that despite its pretence of democracy, Azerbaijan is far from being a democratic country.

As Ms. Zohrabyan noted, PACE members were displeased over Baku decision to ban PACE representative from entering Azerbaijan to draw a report on political prisoners, offering to discuss the issue at the next Assembly sitting.
