PACE starts supporting common interests, rather than common ideas - official![]() October 11, 2011 - 14:38 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian delegation suggested the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) amend regulations introducing mechanisms to reveal the clash of interests within the organization, the head of Armenian delegation to PACE said. As Davit Harutyunyan told journalists, “we have a feeling PACE is turning into an institution supporting common interests, rather than common ideas.” Commenting on the possibility of dissolution of PACE subcommittee on Nagorno Karabakh after Mevlut Cavusoglu completes his mission as the Assembly president, Harutyunyan said, “it will all depend on political situation at PACE.” ![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
