Yerevan to host ArmAgroForum Oct 14-16 October 12, 2011 - 12:39 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On October 14-16, Yerevan will host ArmAgroForum international agricultural forum dated to 20th anniversary of Armenia’s independence and Farmer’s Day. As Armenian Agriculture Minister Sergo Karapetryan told a news conference in Yerevan, the forum will host over 1200 farmers from Armenia, Nagorno Karabakh, Russia, Ukraine, Georgia, Lebanon, Iran, Poland, Latvia, U.S. and France. Oct 14 opening ceremony at Yerevan’s Sports and Concert Complex will be followed by the Harvest Festival on the next day, with Diaspora partners to visit companies engaged in agriculture industry. On Oct 16, Yerevan’s Northern Avenue will be the venue for large-scale festive events with a vast buffet of agriculture products offered for sampling, with exhibits, fairs and cultural program as the highlights.
