DELEGATIONS OF FRATERNAL ORTHODOX CHURCHES ARRIVING IN ARMENIA

PanARMENIAN.Net - Head of the Georgian Orthodox Church Ilia II and a delegation of the Coptic Orthodox Church headed by Patriarch Shenuda III will visit Armenia May 2-5 on the invitation of Catholicos of all Armenians Garegin II due to the 1700-th anniversary of consecration of the St. Echmiadzin Cathedral. As reported by "De Facto" agency, meetings of heads of the fraternal churches with Armenian president Robert Kocharian, visiting National Academy of Sciences and the monument to the victims of the Armenian Genocide of 1915 are planned.
