  Grigor Mikhitaryan wins gold at World Sambo Championships October 15, 2011 - 11:22 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian sambo wrestlers grabbed 5 medals on the first day of the World Championship youth, juniors (M-W) in Riga, Latvia. Grigor Mikhitaryan (under 48kg) won gold, beating Kazakhsyan’s representative in the finals. Maxim Manukyan (48kg), Karen Tonoyan (62kg), Mher Karapetyan (82kg) and Roza Khachatryan (52lg) won bronze, reported the press service of the Armenian Sambo Federation. During the 2011 European Championships held in Prague in April, Armenians earned 2 silver and 5 bronze medals.
