NATO PA didn’t adopt any anti-Armenian resolution over past 4,5 yearsOctober 19, 2011 - 13:04 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The NATO Parliamentary Assembly didn’t adopt any anti-Armenian resolution over the past 4,5 years, head of the Armenian delegation to NATO said. “There were risks, however, the Armenian delegation with the support of the Foreign Ministry managed to resist the challenges,” Karen Avagyan told journalists in Yerevan. For his part, member of Heritage opposition party Stepan Safaryan noted that a draft resolution on the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement was developed at the October 7-10 NATO PA session. “The draft resolution highlights Armenia’s approach to the Karabakh process. However, it was not discussed and adopted because of the numerous proposals made by the Azerbaijani side,” he said. The NATO PA next session will be held after the parliamentary election in Armenia.
