The flick, which starts filming this week in Atlanta, is adapted from Perry's play by the same name and depicts a newlywed marriage counselor, Judith (played by actress Jurnee Smollett), who's great at her job but struggles in her own marriage. The 31-year-old Keeping Up with the Kardashians star will play the role of Ava, Judith's co-worker, who helps her friend gain new confidence with a big city makeover among other things.
