  4 political parties in Armenia apply for EPP membership October 30, 2011 - 16:51 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia showed positive results in the sector of reforms, specifically those in Electoral Code, according to European People's Party (EPP) Secretary of External Relations. As Nicolas Briec stressed at Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) -hosted economic forum, EPP supports the strategy of Armenian government aimed at implementation of Electoral Code reforms. “At present, Yerevan is hosting an EU consulting group who joined efforts with Armenian government to promote the initiative,” Briec noted, pointing out significant progress in the protection of fundamental rights in Armenia. 4 Armenian arties have applied for EPP membership with the official process to launch in 2 weeks.
