Armenian Defense Minister denies split among top military officialsNovember 1, 2011 - 11:18 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan refuted reports on the split among the top military officials. Commenting on media reports concerning the alleged conflict between Deputy Defense Ministers, Mr. Ohanyan noted that during his two-week’s leave several incidents in the army aroused public discontent. Referring to NGO grant programs directed to assisting the army, the Minister noted that army does not favor programs “which incite illegal deeds and initiatives.” He also emphasized that alls attempts to split the army leadership are doomed to fail.
