U.S. expert to lecture on nuclear technology in Yerevan![]() November 4, 2011 - 14:18 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On November 18, American University of Armenia will host a lecture by Georgetown University Professor and special advisor to the U.S. Department of Defense, Dr. Matthew Kroenig. The lecturer will present research from his recent book, Exporting the Bomb, in which he examines the historical transfer of sensitive nuclear materials and technology. Dr. Kroenig will also focus on nuclear smuggling in the Caucasus. The lecture is intended for researchers, scientists, state officials, NGO members and students. Instruction language will be English with simultaneous Armenian translation. Initiative is taken by Caucasus Research Resource Center, a program of Eurasia Partnership Foundation in cooperation with Yerevan State University and American University of Armenia.
