Azerbaijan beats Armenia at European Team Chess Championships round 2

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia lost 2:1 to Azerbaijan in the 2nd round of Porto Carras-hosted European Team Chess Championships.

During the 2nd round, Levon Aronian, Vladimir Akopian ended their games vs. Teimour Radjabov, Shakhriyar Mamedyarov in ties.

Azerbaijan's Gadir Guseinov, Vugar Gashimov scored wins over Gabriel Sargissian, Sergei Movsesian respectively, with Armenia squad suffering their first loss at Porto Carras-hosted championship.
