Armenian Prime Minister to attend EPP political summit

PanARMENIAN.Net - On November 8, Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan will attend European People’s Party (EPP) political summit.

As government press office reports, Armenian PM will meet with members of European Friends of Armenia Organization and attend a working dinner with European Parliament members.

On November 7, Tigran Sargsyan participated in a conference organized by EPP. Party leader Wilfried Martens, President of the European Commission José Manuel Barroso, European Parliament members and economists also attended the conference.

Single European currency maintenance, further political integration, structural reforms in Europe, bank capitalization, macroeconomic stability and other issues were on discussion agenda.

Armenian delegation includes head of RA Government Staff David Sargsyan, Armenia's Minister of Education and Science Armen Ashotyan, member of ruling Republican Party of Armenia Artak Zakaryan and other officials.
