  Serzh Sargsyan hopes for further activation of Armenia-Japan ties November 8, 2011 - 17:27 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - A newly-appointed Japanese Ambassador to Armenia, Tikahito Harada (residence in Moscow) submitted his credentials to Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan. At the meeting, the President specifically noted recent activation of Armenia-Japan ties, expressing hope for the Ambassador’s contribution to their further strengthening. The Ambassador, in turn, noted that the 20th anniversary of Armenia-Japan diplomatic relations will be celebrated in 2011, serving as an occasion to organize cultural and economic programs and events, presidential press service reported. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire.
