Representatives of Armenian banking, IT sector, ministries and media attended the discussion organized by the Union of Information Technology Enterprises (UITE) of Armenia.

According to Vahe Danielyan, issues related to payment, customs and taxing systems of online trade organization were on the agenda. Possible solutions to the existing problems were further offered.

Among the key problems commission named the impossibility of online trade implementation through visa cards due to the absence of Visa International e-commerce license. This urges Armenian companies to open accounts in international banks for operating their businesses. As a solution to the problem one of Armenian banks should purchase right to license further to intervene in transactions between Armenian banks and Visa.
