  Third Armenian weightlifter fails to qualify for London Olympics November 14, 2011 - 10:45 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The last contender to represent Armenia, Ruben Aleksanyan, also performed unsuccessfully at World Weightlifting Championships. After lifting 185kg in the snatch Aleksanyan failed to lift 240kg in the clean and jerk to finish 10th at the Championships with no Olympic points. Another Armenian weightlifter Hayk Hakobyan came 6th with a total of 395kg. Iranian weightlifter Behdad Salimikordasiabi scored a crashing win with a total of 464 kg, another Iranian Sajjad Anoushiravani Hamlabad came 2nd with a lift of 439kg, Korea’s representative Sang-Guen Jeon won bronze with a total of 433kg.
