VivaCell-MTS introduces Career Development ProgramNovember 15, 2011 - 16:00 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - VivaCell-MTS Career Development Program was presented at Education and Career Expo 2011, organized by Logos Expo Center through assistance of the RA Ministry of Education and Science, the company said in a press release. The aim of the Expo is to provide information to students regarding the whole spectrum of modern educational methods and approaches, encourage cooperation between educational institutions and business, inform about the most demanded specializations in the labor market, establish another channel of communication between employers and job seekers, encourage state, private and public sectors to come up with new educational initiatives. “VivaCell-MTS keeps on investing in the younger generation of Armenians to help them achieve their professional goals, to develop and to find their destination in life,” VivaCell-MTS General Manager Ralph Yirikian said. “We have developed the Career Development Program in order to create continuous connection between business and higher education, and provide support with upgrading the capacity of students in the respective spheres based on the demands of the job market.” The CDP includes: internship for students in the VivaCell-MTS respective departments, the VivaCell-MTS Seasonal Schools, Open Doors, and Guest Lectures in the higher educational institutions, seminars for students and professors, joint educational projects with the Ministry of Education and Science, many NGOs and etc.. Memoranda of Understanding were signed with 39 universities in Armenia and abroad in order to expand the geography of the CDP.
