PM: Armenia-EU relations enter new stage of development

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan met with High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Catherine Ashton.

As Sargsyan noted during the meeting, “Armenia-EU relations entered a new stage of development, giving a further impetus to reforms implemented.”

Ashton, in turn, welcomed the progress in Armenia-EU ties as well as Armenia’s efforts on the way to their intensification.

The PM briefed the High Representative about the priorities on Armenian government’s agenda, including formation of middle class and civil society, adoption of European values. The parties also focused on regional issues, governmental press service reported.
