Expert: British Petroleum has negative impact on Armenia-Britain ties

PanARMENIAN.Net - Head of standing parliamentary committee on European Integration Naira Zohrabyan met with South Caucasus Affairs representative of British Ministry of Foreign Affairs Josephine Gold, press service of Armenian National Assembly reported.

Dwelling on Armenia-Great Britain relations, Zohrabyan stressed the negative impact of British Petroleum on strengthening bilateral ties. Zohrabyan expressed hope that Britain will maintain balanced position in the region despite 50% of Azerbaijan’s foreign investments due to British Petroleum.

Naira Zohrabyan further briefed the guests on several issues regarding upcoming elections in Armenia including changes in RA electoral code.
