Heritage leader urges President to depoliticize education systemNovember 21, 2011 - 12:28 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The leader of Heritage opposition party Raffi Hovannisian addressed an official letter to Armenian President, leader of ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), Serzh Sargsyan. In his letter, Hovannisian called on President Sargsyan to depoliticize the education system and local self-government, also urging him against the use of administrative resources during elections. The measures, Hovannisian said, are essential in fulfilment of presidential vow to hold free and fair elections in Armenia.
