PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian grandmaster Levon Aronian retains leadership at Tal Memorial, having tied the 6th round game against Boris Gelfand (Israel) to increase his current score to 3,5 points.

Magnus Carlsen, Ian Nepomniatchi, Sergei Karjakin have also gained 3,5 points to be placed 2-4th.

Aronian will face off against Sergei Karjakin in the 7th round of Tal Memorial.

Board pairings for remaining contenders are: Peter Swindler- Ian Nepomniatchi, Boris Gelfand- Vladimir Kramnik, Hikaru Nakamura- Vassily Ivanchuk, Viswanathan Anand-Magnus Carlsen.
