  AZERBAIJAN BECOMES ACTIVE IN KARABAKH SETTLEMENTDecember 24, 2003 - 19:16 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Azeri foreign minister Vilayat Guliyev stated official Baku and specifically his department intend to activate efforts aiming at attaining a final solution of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict. Guliyev also emphasized that he has already held talks with Russian ambassador to the OSCE Minsk Group Yuri Merzlyakov. The Azeri foreign department assesses the outcome of the negotiations rather positively, "CentrAN" agency reported.
