CSTO plans to approve program on RRF armament November 25, 2011 - 12:55 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Secretary of the Armenian National Security Council Artur Baghdasaryan and Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization Nikolay Bordyuzha signed Friday, November 25, an action plan on implementation of agreements achieved as result of negotiations. The action plan highlights military and economic cooperation as well as establishment of joint service centers. “Much attention was also paid to preparation of CSTO rapid reaction force exercise to be held in Armenia in 2012,” Bordyuzha said, adding that the program envisaging provision of the CSTO RRF with modern armament will be submitted for approval on December 20. For his part, Baghdasaryan noted that 15 events will be held in the framework of agreements with the CSTO next year. “We are confident that these events will be conducted at proper level,” he said.
