  Nikol Pashinyan urges President Sargsyan to leave politics November 25, 2011 - 18:25 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Political situation in Armenia has undergone significant change since the last rally of Armenian National Congress (ANC) opposition bloc in Yerevan, according to Haykakan Zhamanak daily editor-in-chief. As Nikol Pashinyan stated at Nov 25 ANC rally, “recent resignations prove ANC leader Levon Ter-Petrossian was right in predicting large-scale shifts in government staff.” Pashinyan further commented on Armenia police chief Alik Sargsyan’s “disgraceful” dismissal, noting that the latter learned about his resignation from newspapers. In this context, Pashinyan urged Armenia President Serzh Sargsyan to follow Robert Kocharian’s suit by leaving politics. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
