REPRESENTATIVES OF SOUTH CAUCASIAN COUNTRIES ESTABLISHING COOPERATION IN EDUCATION SPHERE

PanARMENIAN.Net - Representatives of public organizations and educational systems of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Russia and Georgia are taking part in the "Education for Stable Development" regional seminar that opened in Yerevan today. The seminar held within the framework of the "Decade of Education for Stable Development" declared by the UN for 2005-2014 aims to acquaint the people involved in the educational system with the international documents in the given sphere and to work out the program of joint regional activity in accordance to the "Decade of Education" project. As Liz Grande, the coordinator of the UN Development Program in Armenia noted, this initiative will become a significant step for establishing cooperation between the South Caucasian states.
