Guitarist Joao Kouyoumdjian to perform in NY![]() November 28, 2011 - 12:31 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Joao Kouyoumdjian, a Brazilian-Armenian guitarist, will perform in Carnegie Hall, New York, on November 28, 2011. Joao Kouyoumdjian will also receive guest artists Paulo Martelli (guitar), Kathryn Farenish (flute), Marta Kukularova (soprano) and Welson Tremura (guitar). Guitar virtuoso Paulo Martelli describes Joao Kouyoumdjian as “one of the most extraordinary Brazilian guitarists of his generation.” Program includes traditional Brazilian music and world premieres by Raimundo Penaforte and Ricardo Calderoni.
