Georgia’s Armenians issue address to Presidents Saakashvili, SargsyanNovember 28, 2011 - 16:58 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Georgia’s Armenian community issued an address to Georgian and Armenian Presidents, requesting them to discuss the issues of the Armenian community on the sidelines of Serzh Sargsya’s visit to Georgia Nov 29-30. As the message stresses, settling the issues of the community will help improve neighborly relations between the two countries. Closure of Armenian-language schools, the property Armenian Apostolic Church was deprived of in Soviet times, anti-Armenian moods were described as the main challenges of Armenian community in Georgia. Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert. On June 10, Azerbaijani President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will leave for Turkey on a working visit. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev arrived in Moscow on April 22 to hold talks with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
