WITHIN 5 DAYS SOUTH CAUCASIAN ISSUES TO BE DISCUSSED IN SCOTLAND

PanARMENIAN.Net - An enlarged sitting of the South Caucasian Inter-Parliamentary Initiative with participation of deputies from Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia opened in Scotland today. The Armenian and Azeri delegations are expected to meet privately on the first day of the forum in Speyside city to discuss settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict. The main sitting will be held in the Scottish capital of Edinburgh December 17-20, where the delegations of the three South Caucasian countries will discuss urgent regional problems. As earlier reported by Armenian delegation head, National Assembly speaker Tigran Torosian, the Armenian party will present a joint statement of political forces of the Armenian Parliament over Karabakh. It should be reminded that two meetings - in Strasbourg and Tbilisi - were earlier held within the framework of the South Caucasian initiative.
